Grama Volunteers Recruitment Guidelines G.O Ms.No.104 Dated 22.06.2019 released today. Govt of AP, Department of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development will look after the AP Village Volunteers/YSR Village Volunteers selection procedure. Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department–Positioning of Volunteers @one per around 50 households in the State to ensure leak proof implementation of Government Programmes/ Schemes –Orders –Issued
AP State Government intends to deploy Volunteers in rural areas for delivering Government Services like Amma Vodi, YSR Pension Kanuka etc., at door step of all eligible households irrespective of Caste/Creed/Religion/Gender and political affiliation. Detailed AP Grama Volunteer Notification/YSR Village Volunteers Notification will be published in news papers tomorrow. Eligible and interested candidates need to apply online from the official website from tomorrow on wards. AP Village Volunteer Vacancies will be published by the district collectors of the concerned district.
Eligibility: Applicant must belong to the village or gram panchayat where he/she is applying.
Educational Qualifications: Applicants must pass intermediate or its equivalent for rural area. For tribal areas 10th class pass is required.
Reservation: Reservation as per govt norms will be applicable for all reserved candidates. In addition, 50% are reserved for woman candidates in all categories. This is a great opportunity for woman candidates to secure AP Grama Volunteer Job which can give them a fixed honorarium every month.
Age Limit: 18 to 35 years as on 30.06.2019
How to Apply: Eligible and interested candidates need to apply online for this AP Grama Volunteers Recruitment. They have to register at the official website http://gramavolunteer.ap.gov.in/VVAPP/VV/index.html. Online process starts from tomorrow.
Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates will be called for interview by the selection commission consisted of MPDO/Tahsildar. There will be no written examination for this recruitment as per the news available at present.
All selected candidates will be paid a fixed honorarium of Rs.5000 per month. 2 days training will be given to them before appointment. Their services will be commenced from 15th August 2019. This is a very good opportunity for the unemployed youth of rural areas in particular. This can be economically helpful for them before they gain any other permanent government job. In addition they work between the government and people.
