Bihar Govt Declared Holiday for Schools on 27th April 2015 due to earthquake in Nepal. UP Govt has declared Holidays for Schools on 27th April 2015 and 28th April 2015. Bihar/UP Govt Holidays on 27.04.2015 and 28.04.2015 is applicable to educational institutions in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Due to Earthquake about 40 people have died in Bihar only.

In Uttar Pradesh 17 people were died due to earthquake. 3 people died in West Bengal. About 70 people died all over India due to this massive earthquake. Govt of India started a mission, called mission mythri to save the people effected by earthquake in Nepal. USA govt has announced 1 million dollars for this crisis.

About 2200 people have been killed due to earthquake in Nepal on 25th April 2015 after a huge 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal. The 7.8 magnitude quake struck an area between the capital city Kathmandu and the city of Pokhara. The Nepal government has declared a state of emergency in the earthquake affected areas. A number of historic buildings have been destroyed which included the famous Dharahara tower. After the earthquake struck, Mobile phones and other communications have been disrupted. Nepal earth quake triggered an avalanche on Mount Everest, killing at least eighteen people.
