Total India Coronavirus Positive Cases reached four digit mark today. First death recorded in Kerala today. 69 years old man was died due to COVID 19 today in Kochi. About 117 more cases reported today in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Delhi, Tamilnadu, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir extra. Till today 21 people have been died due to COVID 19 in India. Maharashtra tops the list with 186 positive cases followed by Kerala with 182 positive cases. People from 27 states and union territories have been infected with Coronavirus as of now. At this point of time, there are 1003 total cases registered positive for COVID 19. 84 people have been recovered from this infection and 21 people have lost their life.

COVID 19 first positive case was reported on the 30th of January 2020. Now there are 1003 positive cases in India including 898 active cases. As of now, today 1003 people tested positive for Coronavirus in the country. Today new cases are reported from Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Tamilnadu, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, J&K, Andhra Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Island and Bihar.

Even though Kerala state tops the COVID 19 cases in India, there were no deaths recorded in Kerala until yesterday. But today one person has died of Coronavirus in Kerala.

On the 24th of this month, Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi has announced country wise Lockdown starting 12 mid night on that day to 14th April 2020, for 21 days. Government has taken all the necessary steps to curb Coronavirus spread. According to the ministry of health, the rate of increase in the positive cases is relatively stable in India when compared with other nations. 1st phase Census 2021 is also postponed indefinitely due to the spread of Coronavirus.

Today is the 4th day of the 3 week lockdown period. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharman has announced government’s 1.7 lakh crore relief package to mitigate the economic impact the coronavirus outbreak. Nearly 6,00,000 people test positive for COVID 19 all over the world. USA tops the list with more than one lakh cases followed by Italy, China and Spain.
