Inclusion of Coronavirus Cases under Aarogyasri Scheme
AP State Govt has issued G.O Ms.No.51 Dated 6.04.2020 for the inclusion of certain procedures under Dr YSR Aarogyasri Scheme to treat the cases of Suspected and Confirmed positive COVID –19 cases. Suspected and Confirmed COVID 19 persons will get an amount of Rs.16,405 to Rs.2,15,936 depending upon the case. COVID 19 suspected people will get 16,405 for hospital expenditure including personal protection equipment purchase.

In view of increase in the no. of suspected cases in the State, the Chief Executive Officer, Dr YSR Aarogyasri Health Care Trust has submitted the proposal to include 15 new procedures under Dr YSR Aarogyasri Scheme to treat the COVID–19 suspected and confirmed positive stable or unstable cases as recommended by the Government Pulmonologists and submitted the list of procedures.
1.Medical Management of suspected COVID – 19 (Stable): Rs.16,405 (inclusive of personal protection equipment purchase cost Rs.5,631)
2.Medical Management of confirmed COVID – 19 (Stable): Rs.65,824 (inclusive of personal protection equipment purchase cost Rs.32,850)
3.Medical Management of Confirmed ofCOVID – 19 with Co-morbidities -HTN, DM, COPD, HIV, Chr. Liver Disease, Chr. Renal Disease): Rs.71,342 (inclusive of personal protection equipment purchase cost Rs.32,850)
4.Medical Management of Acute Bronchitis with Pneumonia and Respiratory Failure: Rs.1,22,520 (inclusive of personal protection equipment purchase cost Rs.32,850)
5.Medical Management of ARDS: Rs.1,69,785 (inclusive of personal protection equipment purchase cost Rs.32,850)
6.Medical Management of COPD with Respiratory Failure (Infective Exacerbation): Rs.1,46,140 (inclusive of personal protection equipment purchase cost Rs.32,850)
7.Medical Management of Acute Severe Asthma With Acute Respiratory Failure: Rs.1,09,033 (inclusive of personal protection equipment purchase cost Rs.32,850)
8.Medical Management of ARDS with Multi Organ failure (R65.1): Rs.1,96,139 Inclusive of P.P.E
9.Medical Management of ARDS with DIC (Blood & Blood Products): Rs.2,15,936 inclusive of P.P.E
10.Intensive care management of Septic Shock: Rs.Rs.1,16,940 Inclusive of P.P.E
11.Medical Management of Acute Respiratory Failure (Without Ventilator): Rs.79,214 Inclusive of P.P.E
